BJP holds consultations with Dalit organisations on putting up united fight to prevent diversion of Dalit welfare funds

Photo: X/@NswamyChalavadi Ahead of the commencement of the legislature session, the BJP on Sunday (March 2, 2025) held round-table consultations with various Dalit organisations in the State on the methods of preventing diversion of funds meant for Dalits to other schemes. Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Council Chalavadi Narayanaswamy, who presided over the consultations, told presspersons that Dalit organisations were anguished over the diversion of funds to other schemes, particularly the government’s guarantees.
