The police launched an investigation into the incident. A photo for IndiGo airlines (PTI) A passenger travelling on an IndiGo flight from Hanoi to Kolkata was arrested at Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International (NSCBI) Airport after a female co-passenger accused him of molestation onboard the aircraft. The accused was identified as Md Abdur Rahman, a resident of Bihar. The alleged incident took place shortly before the aircraft was about to land in Kolkata. The woman alleged that Rahman inappropriately touched her during the flight, prompting her to immediately report the matter after landing. The complainant approached personnel of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) and informed them about the alleged misconduct. Acting swiftly on the complaint, CISF personnel detained the accused on the airport premises for questioning.
