Hyundai Motor India Limited has launched the 2025 Creta in the Indian market with new variants and features. The company has added new features to the SX(O) variant which is the top-end variant and there are two new variants on offer as well – EX (O) and the SX Premium. The 2024 Hyundai Creta is offered with three engine options. Hyundai Creta EX(O) The latest Hyundai Creta EX(O) is positioned above the EX trim and is priced at ₹12.97 lakh, ex-showroom, for the petrol variant, while the diesel variant is available at ₹14.56 lakh, ex-showroom. Additionally, the petrol variant with IVT transmission is priced at ₹14.37 lakh, and the automatic transmission for the diesel variant is set at ₹15.96 lakh, both ex-showroom. Sonbhadra: Six people lost their lives and three others sustained injuries after a collision between an SUV and a truck in Ranitali village, under Hathinala police station limits here on Sunday, officials said. The accident occurred around 7:30 pm on the Varanasi-Shaktinagar State Highway when a truck crossed the divider, veered into the opposite lane and collided head-on with a Hyundai Creta car going from Chhattisgarh towards Robertsganj. According to Superintendent of Police Ashok Kumar Meena, the deceased include four occupants of the car, the truck driver and the driver of another vehicle crossing the road. Among the identified victims are Sanaullah Khalifa (40), a resident of Ramanujganj, Chhattisgarh, and Ravi Mishra (45) of Medical College Ambikapur, Chhattisgarh. Another victim, Umashankar Patel, son of the late Banarasi Patel, was a truck driver from Adalhat, Mirzapur. The identities of the three other deceased remain unknown. Mumbai: A four-year-old boy has been killed after a speeding car, driven by a 19-year-old man, hit him in Mumbai, police said today. The accident took place near the Ambedkar College in the Wadala area. Police said the family of the victim, identified as Ayush Laxman Kinvade, lives on the footpath and his father is a worker. Sandeep Gole, who was driving the Hyundai Creta, is a resident of Vile Parle. Further investigation is underway. Mumbai The Mumbai sessions court on Saturday rejected bail plea of Irfan Abdul Rahim Bilakiya, the driver of the speeding SUV that crashed into three stationary vehicles on the Bandra-Worli Sea Link (BWSL) in the early hours on October 5, killing five people and injuring eight others. Bilakiya had moved the sessions court after a metropolitan magistrate court rejected his bail plea on October 22. The accident took place at 2.53am, minutes after a Maruti Suzuki Swift had crashed into the barricade on south-bound side of the BWSL (towards Worli) following a tyre burst and the owner of a Maruti Suzuki Baleno stopped to help four stranded occupants of the Swift. Noticing the vehicles parked on BWSL, the staff assumed that an accident had taken place and sent an ambulance as well as a tow away vehicle to the site.
