Virat Kohli on Monday backed newly-appointed Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) captain Rajat Patidar to lead the franchise for many years. Kohli himself led the franchise for more than a decade before relinquishing the captaincy after the 2021 IPL season. “This guy is going to lead you for a long time. He is going to do a great job. Former Royal Challengers Bengaluru captain Faf du Plessis was appointed the vice-captain of the Delhi Capitals on Monday, the franchise announced ahead of the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) campaign.The former South Africa captain will be Axar Patel’s deputy in the Delhi-based franchise. Axar was named DC captain on Friday. “I am very excited. Delhi has been great and the boys have been fantastic.
