Pune Rural Police on Wednesday recreated the crime scene in the Ketan Agarwal murder case at Lohagad Fort in Maharashtra as part of their ongoing investigation.  As reported by IANS, during the exercise, investigators threw a fibre dummy matching the victim’s height and weight into a gorge more than 300 feet deep to reconstruct the sequence of events.  Earlier on Tuesday, the police also conducted a ‘gait analysis’ of the second accused, Chetan Chaudhary. Nani and Ashok, attached to the Krishnalanka police station, who were allegedly involved in the wrongful confinement, custodial torture, and death of Gade Sai Krishna, surrendered to the police on Monday (June 29, 2026). The head constables had been missing since the arrest of Circle Inspector S.S.V.V. Nagaraju. They surrendered to the NTR Commissionerate police, who shifted them to the SIT office, where the team head, IGP M. Ravi Prakash, and SPs Adnan Nayeem Asmi and Amit Bardar questioned them until late in the night. The head constables are accused of resorting to custodial torture of Sai Krishna at the Krishnalanka police station, which led to his death. They reportedly assisted Mr. Nagaraju in disposing of the body. JUNE 18 Day Ketan Agarwal lost his life The Pune rural police on Sunday took Siya Goyal, 20, the prime accused in the alleged murder of realtor Ketan Agrawal, to Lohagad Fort to recreate the crime scene as part of the ongoing investigation. Co-accused Chetan Chaudhary, 22, was also brought to the fort separately for the exercise under heavy police security. Led by Superintendent of Police Sandeep Singh Gill, the police recreated the sequence of events to verify the accused’s version of the incident and identify the exact spot from where Agrawal was allegedly pushed into the gorge on June 18. A human-sized dummy was used during the exercise to reconstruct the alleged crime, while investigators conducted a detailed panchnama. The fort remained closed to tourists during the operation. As the investigation into the alleged murder of Ketan Agarwal continues, the police on Sunday recreated the crime scene at Lohagad Fort near Pune with the accused, the victim’s fiancee Siya Goyal, to reconstruct the sequence of events leading to his death. Deputy Superintendent of Police (Lonavala Division) Gajanan Tompe said, “Today, according to Siya’s description, we recreated the crime scene at the Lohagad fort.
