Priyanka Bose won Best Actress for Agra, while Pasupathy was awarded Best Supporting Actor for Bison Kaalamaadan. Critics’ Choice Awards full list of nominees: Neeraj Ghaywan’s Homebound and Vikramaditya Motwane’s crime thriller Black Warrant have emerged as the front-runners at the 8th Critics’ Choice Awards, with six and seven nominations respectively, the Film Critics Guild announced on Tuesday. The annual awards, presented in association with WPP Motion Entertainment, cover feature films, web series, short films, and documentaries, with voting conducted by 56 film critics from across the country. Jacob Elordi Bags First Major Acting Win at Critics Choice Awards for Frankenstein: “I really didn’t plan for it”

Jacob Elordi marked a major milestone in his career by winning the Critics Choice Award for Best Supporting Actor at the 2026 ceremony, held on January 4 in Santa Monica, California. The 28-year-old actor earned the honor for his portrayal of the Creature in Guillermo del Toro’s highly anticipated adaptation of Frankenstein, making this his first major acting award. The Critics Choice Awards, originally slated for January 14 in Santa Monica, has been rescheduled once again due to the ongoing wildfires ravaging Los Angeles, reported the Hollywood Reporter. After two prior postponements, the event will now take place on February 7, 2024, at the Barker Hangar, located just miles away from the areas hardest hit by the fires, confirmed The Hollywood Reporter. The awards ceremony was initially set to air live on E! but was postponed to January 26 before the fires prompted another delay. The new date was announced by the Critics Choice Association (CCA), which expressed its concern for those affected by the fires.
