Two Chinese sailors on Thursday were rescued from a sunken cargo ship from Paradip port in Odisha, the Indian Coast Guard (ICG) said. The Panama-flagged vessel left Paradip on August 20. (Indian Coast Guard) The China-bound ship carrying iron ore had lost contact about 200 nautical miles off the coast on August 20, prompting the ICG and the Indian Navy to launch a search and rescue operation. “Indian Coast Guard Ship (ICGS) Varad safely brought two Chinese survivors—Pan Tonglai and Chen Jianhe—to Paradip, Odisha today. Rescued from a liferaft on 22 August, both received medical care onboard during transit and have now been handed over to authorized company representatives in the presence of Bureau of Immigration and local police officials,” ICG CPRO Commandant Amit Uniyal said. “Coordinated sea and air search operations continue in full swing to locate the remaining missing crew members. MRCC Sri Vijaya Puram is continuously coordinating with all participating assets in the ongoing rescue efforts,” he added. Toxic: A Fairy Tale For Grown-Ups recorded a mammoth start at the box office. It stormed over Rs. 112 crore gross in India on the first day, with a huge contribution from the Hindi markets. That made it the 6th biggest opening-day grosser at the Indian box office. The movie still fell behind Yash’s KGF Chapter 2 (Rs. 127.50 crore); however, Toxic is not a sequel or part of a franchise, which makes its opening day even more notable.  The top spot among the biggest Day 1 openers in India belongs to Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2, which grossed Rs. 191 crore. Devotional drama, Hanuman Ansh, continues to gain traction in its third week. The movie collected Rs. 2.35 crore on its third Tuesday, registering a 104 per cent growth from Monday. The spike came due to discounted ticket fares on Tuesday. The third week’s cume reached Rs. 6.75 crore nett in 5 days. It is expected to close this week around Rs. 9 crore or so, which will take its entire cume to Rs. 11 crore nett at the Indian box office.  That will be a superb total for a film of this stature.
