Manoj Muntashir says defending the film was a mistake
More than three years after Adipurush sparked widespread backlash, writer Manoj Muntashir has candidly reflected on the controversy. Calling the film the “biggest mistake” of his life, he admitted its dialogues were crass and that the film failed to do justice to Lord Ram and Hanuman. He also apologised to the country and acknowledged that defending the film was an even bigger mistake. Manoj Muntashir on Adipurush backlash “In the beginning, I was a bit dismissive. It took me two days to understand. Adipurush was the biggest mistake of my life, and defending that film was an even bigger mistake.
