Delhi Election 2025 Results Live Updates: Counting To Begin Soon In High-Stakes AAP Vs BJP Battle

 Delhi Assembly Election 2025 Live Updates: The counting of votes for the Delhi Assembly elections will take place today, deciding whether the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) secures a fourth consecutive term or if the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) stages a comeback after more than 26 years. The Congress, which has faced two consecutive electoral defeats, is also looking to make modest gains in the high-stakes contest. Vote counting will commence at 8am across 19 counting stations spanning 11 districts. Shahdara, Central Delhi, East, South, and Southwest districts will each have one counting center, while North, West, Northeast, and Southeast districts will have two each. The New Delhi and Northwest districts will have three counting stations apiece. Exit polls have largely favored the BJP over AAP, which has been in power since 2015. The Election Commission reported a voter turnout of 60.54% on Wednesday. Delhi election: Delhi minister Saurabh Bharadwaj on Wednesday accused the Delhi Police of putting barricades at 200 metres at polling stations at Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) strongholds.
