(File) Amid the doubts being raised over the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in West Bengal, the Election Commission of India (ECI) on Friday gave a point-by-point rebuttal of all allegations raised by the Trinamool Congress (TMC) to the party’s 10-member delegation, said sources. The ECI further requested them to give claims and objections after December 9, when the draft list is shared with them, sources said. Till then, they have been requested to refrain from interfering with the independent functioning of BLOs, EROs and DEOs who are State Government employees who have been deputed to election-related works.
