Lady Gaga addressed the backlash against her film Joker: Folie à Deux, the sequel to the 2019 blockbuster Oscar-winning film Joker, for the first time. After its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival in September of last year, Joker 2 received mixed reviews from critics and fans alike.  The gritty courtroom thriller holds a 31 percent Rotten Tomatoes score and was picked as one of the “worst” movies at the 2025 Razzie Awards.
