Devendra Fadnavis meets PM Modi, discusses Maharashtra growth and infrastructure

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Thursday met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi and discussed various issues related to the state’s development. In a post on social media platform X after the meeting, Fadnavis said he briefed the Prime Minister on the progress and status of several projects and development works underway in Maharashtra. The Maharashtra Chief Minister also said he sought guidance from PM Modi on a range of matters concerning the state. “Called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi today. Sought his guidance on various subjects pertaining to Maharashtra’s development. I also briefed him on the progress and status of many works and projects of Maharashtra,” Fadnavis said in the post. Parts of Pune get regular water supply; Fadnavis hails citizen participation

Maharashtra CM Fadnavis on Sunday credited citizens and local resident groups for the successful implementation of the equal water supply scheme in parts of south Pune, saying constant follow-ups by residents helped ensure the long-delayed project became a reality, reported the PTI. Speaking at a function marking the start of regular water supply in areas including Mohammadwadi, NIBM and nearby localities, CM Fadnavis described the programme as one of the most important initiatives for him. The Chief Minister said several citizens, organisations and housing forums regularly raised the issue with the government over the years. “Some residents used to send me messages every week asking when the work would be completed. Today, I am happy that water has finally reached their homes,” he said, according to the PTI.
