Bollywood fashionista Sonam Kapoor’s filmmaker-stylist sister Rhea Kapoor’s diamond-studded earrings worth Rs. 1.35 crore were reportedly stolen from her makeup artist’s handbag. As per the Mumbai Police, the jewellery, rented from two Mumbai-based jewellers for a high-profile fashion event, was discovered missing after the team reached New York. A case has been registered against an unidentified person and a probe has been launched. India’s star javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra is set to make his return to competitive athletics at the Doha Diamond League on June 19, marking the start of his 2026 season after an extended injury layoff. The entry list released for the season-opening Diamond League meet in Doha confirms Chopra’s participation in a strong men’s javelin field. The 2020 Tokyo Olympic medallist hasn’t competed since finishing eighth at the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo last year. Chopra suffered a back injury in Tokyo and was recovering from the same, delaying his comeback. The development comes one day after the Athletics Federation of India (AFI) provisionally added him to the Commonwealth Games 2026 squad. “Neeraj has recovered and he is ready to compete in the next few days. He asked us to add him and we expect him to play in a few meets this month,” AFI selection committee chairman Adille Sumariwalla had said yesterday.
