Jobs scheme: Israel says ‘initial difficulties’, most employers happy now | India News

The Israeli immigration authority acknowledged Wednesday that there were “initial difficulties” caused by “cultural differences and language barriers” following the arrival of Indian workers in the country to work in the construction sector under a bilateral scheme. Now, a “vast majority of employers and companies are thoroughly happy” with this labour force, it said in a press release. As reported by The Indian Express Tuesday, Israel’s Population and Immigration Authority (PIBA) confirmed in the release that “in the light of” these difficulties and the “need for additional industrial workers”, it temporarily allowed construction workers to register for industrial work. The PIBA release was framed in the form of a letter from Eyal Sisso, the authority’s director general, to Ved Mani Tiwari, CEO of National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), which handles the Government-to-Government (G2G) pathway for recruitment. The scheme was launched to offset the shortage of labour in Israel’s construction sector following the ban on Palestinians. “As you requested, PIBA has agreed that four NSDC representatives may stay in Israel for an initial 90 day period, …

Vijay Ganguly talks about difficulties in shooting Tamannaah’s song for Stree 2

Renowned choreographer Vijay Ganguly recently opened up about the significant challenges he faced while choreographing a dance sequence for the highly anticipated `Stree 2`, starring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor. The location we initially found wasn`t suitable for shooting a dance number.” Vijay elaborated, “Our production designer, Mayur Sharma, stepped in, and you know, he just transformed the place. Our DOP, our cameraman Jishnu, and costumes by Sheetal Sharma also played a crucial role.” He continued, “He lit the place beautifully, despite the lack of space for proper lighting.” Despite these logistical hurdles, the entire team pulled together. Tamannaah Bhatia performed in the cold, while the background dancers braved the conditions without shoes or adequate clothing. “It was so cold we couldn`t even …
