Learning to disagree, and working with customers and employees who have polarized views are lessons that will prepare graduates from the Kellogg School of Management for the real world. Why Did Catherine O’Hara Disagree With Christopher Columbus’ Answer About McCallister’s Occupations?

Why Did Catherine O’Hara Disagree With Christopher Columbus’ Answer About McCallister’s Occupations?

It appears that Catherine O’Hara has her own answer to the question that every Home Alone fan has– what did Kevin’s parents do to afford a huge mansion? They previously got the answer from the director, Christopher Columbus himself, but now, they also have one from the Schitt’s Creeks star! For the unversed, when Columbus appeared on The Hollywood Reporter’s Chatter Podcast in 2024, he shared that he and John Huges had a discussion about the same question, and they decided what the lead character’s parent’s occupations would be.  While mentioning the mannequins kept in the McCallister home, he shared that Kevin’s mom would be a “very successful fashion designer.” The titular character’s father, Peter, could have been a part of the advertising industry, according to the director, and having said that, he was not able to recall a specific job. Now, O’Hara shared her take on the same. While conversing with Entertainment Weekly to promote her advertisement for the Superbowl, she stated that she hated to “disagree with anything” that Columbus says, but she did with his answer …

Father-Son clash: S Ramadoss, Anbumani disagree at PMK meet over youth wing appointment

Father-Son clash: S Ramadoss, Anbumani disagree at PMK meet over youth wing appointment

Image Source : ANI Anbumani Ramadoss and S. Ramadoss A dramatic confrontation unfolded on Saturday during a special general council meeting of the Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK) in Vizhupuram, Tamil Nadu, when party founder Dr. S. Ramadoss and his son, Anbumani Ramadoss, publicly clashed over a key party decision. The disagreement centred around the appointment of P. Mukunthan, Ramadoss’s grandson, as the new president of the PMK’s state youth wing. Mukunthan, the son of Ramadoss’s first daughter, Srikanth Parasuraman, had been proposed for the role by his grandfather, who praised Mukunthan’s potential in helping the party achieve its target of securing 50 seats in the 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly elections. However, Anbumani, who is also a former Union Minister and Rajya Sabha MP, objected to the appointment, arguing that Mukunthan, who had joined the party only four months ago, lacked the necessary experience to lead the youth wing. “I believe someone with more experience should be appointed to this key position,” Anbumani argued during the meeting. His criticism triggered a stern response from Ramadoss, who …

Intel and motherboard makers disagree on how to stabilize your crashing i9 CPU

Several motherboard manufacturers have released BIOS profiles labeled ‘Intel Baseline Profile’. However, these BIOS profiles are not the same as the ‘Intel Default Settings’ recommendations that Intel has recently shared with its partners regarding the instability issues reported on 13th and 14th gen K SKU processors. These ‘Intel Baseline Profile’ BIOS settings appear to be based on power delivery guidance previously provided by Intel to manufacturers describing the various power delivery options for 13th and 14th Generation K SKU processors based on motherboard capabilities. Intel is not recommending motherboard manufacturers to use ‘baseline’ power delivery settings on boards capable of higher values. Intel’s recommended ‘Intel Default Settings’ are a combination of thermal and power delivery features along with a selection of possible power delivery profiles based on motherboard capabilities. Intel recommends customers to implement the highest power delivery profile compatible with each individual motherboard design as noted in the table below: Source link
