It promoted conversions to Christianity among attendees After being lured with promises of medical treatment, the attendees found themselves in a prayer meeting. (News18 Hindi) Police busted a religious conversion racket operating under the pretence of a medical camp in Meerut. The Partapur police station apprehended five individuals linked to the racket. The supposed medical camp, situated in the Shivpuram area, was a facade for a prayer meeting where people were encouraged to embrace Christianity. Earlier, members of a Hindu organisation, acting on a tip-off, arrived at the scene and questioned the attendees.
