Kumaraswamy attended the District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (DISHA) meeting held here on Friday and directed officials to ensure that the benefits of Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSS) reach the eligible beneficiaries in a transparent manner. Mr. Kumaraswamy also instructed the officials to ensure full utilization of the sanctioned funds for CSS. Participating in the meeting held on Mysuru Zilla Panchayat premises along with MP for Mysuru Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar, Mr. Kumaraswamy said that farmers losing their land for the construction of national highways should be provided with suitable alternate land or adequately compensated.
