Manmohan Singh death: The Union Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, passed a condolence resolution in memory of former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh. The Cabinet paid homage to Dr Singh by observing a two-minute silence. A seven-day state mourning has been declared until January 1, 2025. The Union Cabinet condoled the passing of former prime minister Manmohan Singh, hailing him as an eminent statesman and a distinguished leader who left an imprint on the national life. “Dr Manmohan Singh has left his imprint on our national life.
