3 min readApr 24, 2026 05:45 PM IST India’s coaching line-up for the inaugural edition of the Esports Nations Cup 2026 (ENC) has been confirmed, marking the official start of player selection for the country’s campaign at the global nation-based esports competition set to debut in Riyadh from November 2-29, 2026. The Esports Foundation (EF) has appointed over 700 Game Coaches representing National Team Partners (NTPs) from more than 100 nations. NODWIN Gaming, India’s NTP, has selected coaches across key titles. Their responsibilities include identifying players, defining team strategy, and building competitive lineups. The coaches for different games at the ENC are as follows: DOTA 2: Moin Ejaz (NO_Chanc3). Asian Games athletes dominate DOTA 2 finals; advance to regional qualifiers for 16th World Esports Championships in Riyadh

India’s Asian Games 2022 athletes recorded a comprehensive victory in the final of the National Esports Championships (NESC) 2024 organized by Esports Federation of India (ESFI) to advance to the regional qualifiers for the 16th World Esports Championships (WEC), scheduled to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Team Whoops, which included members that represented the nation at the Asian Games 2022 as well as won the bronze medal at the Commonwealth Esports Championships 2022, dominated the DOTA 2 competition which featured a total of seven teams. The squad, led by captain Krish Gupta (Krish’-), along with Ketan Goyal (Evil-Ash), Manav Kunte (Mnz), Vishal Vernekar (HBK), Moin Ejaz (No_Chanc3), and substitutes Darshan Bata (A35) and Dennis Shah (Donniz), were crowned champions after securing a commanding 46-8 win against Rogue Squad in the final.
