India and the US on Sunday moved to set aside the rancour and strain that characterised bilateral relations over the past year, with external affairs minister S Jaishankar and US secretary of state Marco Rubio discussing ways to deepen cooperation in defence, energy, technology, critical minerals, while also addressing the fallout from the conflict in West Asia. During his visit to Mauritius, EAM Jaishankar will attend the 9th Indian Ocean Conference and meet Mauritius leadership to review the entire spectrum of bilateral ties.  “He will also deliver the keynote address at the 9th Indian Ocean Conference.
