Carles Cuadrat resigns as head coach of East Bengal FC
East Bengal FC announced the departure of Carles Cuadrat as their head coach after the club suffered their third straight defeat on Friday. 47-year-old Bino George, the assistant coach, will serve as the interim head coach. East Bengal FC will make further announcements in due course. Cuadrat was instrumental in guiding the Red and Gold Brigade to the Kalinga Super Cup title in January earlier this year. It was the club’s first title in 12 years. He also led the team to a runners-up finish in last year’s Durand Cup.
