Pune’s Arohi Deshpande secured All India Rank (AIR) 1 in the girls’ category of the JEE Advanced 2026, scoring 280 out of 360 marks. Her father, Prasad Deshpande, said, “We knew Arohi would do well, but never imagined she would secure the first position among girls across India. The biggest reason behind her success is that she genuinely enjoyed studying. Because she loved learning, academic pressure never became a burden,” he said. Kota move To support Arohi’s growing interest in science and maths, the Deshpande family moved from their home on Baner-Pashan Link Road in Pune to Kota, Rajasthan, where they spent four years backing her JEE preparation. Why did JEE Main 2026 answer keys trigger objections from students? | Education News

After releasing the JEE Main 2026 Session 2 provisional answer keys last week, the National Testing Agency (NTA) found itself at the centre of controversy, with students questioning its credibility and seriousness in conducting a national-level engineering exam. The agency issued the provisional keys on April 11 for exams held between April 2 and April 8, and opened the objection window for students. Hours after issuing the JEE Main session two answer keys, students and educators posted on the microblogging site, X, that they had noticed errors in the Chemistry section of the exam that was conducted on April 5 in shift two. Sudhir Tiwari, a student who appeared in the shift, said he was surprised by all the wrong answers in the Chemistry session. “In the January session, too, they released the incorrect physics and math final answer key. Is anyone responsible for verification?” said Tiwari. Some students are facing challenges where none of the responses are recorded in the NTA-released provisional answer keys. As a result, the All India Rank (AIR) will be finalised for candidates by combining the best scores from the January and April sessions. Many students who fail to make the cut to JEE Advanced rely on NIT admissions. For most students, the choice-filling exercise comes down to the same set of branches they have known for years — Computer Science, Electronics, and Electrical. However, over the last three years, several NITs have introduced some new undergraduate programmes. A student who does not know about them will miss them in the choice-filling list and may end up leaving a seat that might suit them better. This article lists some of the new BTech programmes introduced at some of the NITs. JEE Main Rank Predictor 2026: Check Here Here is what each of these programmes involves, drawn from the departments and academic pages of the respective NITs. S.No. …

JEE Main 2026 Session 2 from April 2: ‘Revise notes, do not start new chapters’ | Education News

JEE Main 2026 Session 2 from April 2: ‘Revise notes, do not start new chapters’ | Education News

Preparing for JEE Main Session 2 can be quite daunting due to limited time combined with high expectations, avoiding common mistakes during this critical period can greatly impact your performance. Most students tend to study harder, but what really counts now is how to study smarter. One of the major mistakes that students commonly make is starting new last minute topics. Given that there is only a few days left until the exam date, attempting to learn all new material can result in stress and confusion. Thus, this is an opportunity for you to reinforce the material that you have previously learned. Concentrate your efforts on reviewing main concepts, formulas, and commonly asked topics. Accuracy and clarity should be your foremost goals at this stage rather than new learning experiences or expanding the volume of the material being covered. BTech in Biological Engineering vs Bio Engineering: Differences, placement opportunities, who should choose | Education News

BTech in Biological Engineering vs Bio Engineering: Differences, placement opportunities, who should choose | Education News

India’s biotechnology sector has witnessed significant growth over the past decade. According to the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), the Indian bioeconomy has expanded from approximately USD 10 billion in 2014 to over USD 80 billion in recent years, driven by pharmaceuticals, vaccines, diagnostics, agri-biotech and bio-industrial innovation. Government initiatives such as Startup India and production-linked incentives in pharma manufacturing have further strengthened this ecosystem. This growth has increased demand for engineers who understand biological systems and are not just pure biologists. That is where Biological Engineering and Bioengineering enter the picture. If you’re a high school student who enjoys biology but also loves solving problems, the world of engineering right now can feel both exciting and a little overwhelming. As you flip through course brochures or scroll through university websites, you’ll probably keep seeing two very similar-sounding degrees: BTech in Biological Engineering and BTech in Bioengineering.
