Police, Abhijeet Dipke exchange words over shade covering Sonam Wangchuk
A brief exchange of words took place between Delhi Police personnel and Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) President Abhijeet Dipke at Jantar Mantar on Monday after officers asked organisers to remove a tarpaulin constructed to shield climate activist Sonam Wangchuk from the sun during his ongoing hunger strike. According to protest organisers, the tarpaulin had been put up to provide shade to Wangchuk, who has been on a hunger strike for the past 16 days. During the interaction, police personnel were seen asking Dipke to remove the temporary covering.
