Samsung Galaxy S26 FE Leak Reveals Familiar Specs, Exynos 2500 Upgrade

Samsung’s Galaxy S26 FE is nearly fully exposed before launch. A set of 26 purported promotional images surfaced Aug. 19, showing the phone’s design, camera layout, display and other hardware details. The images add to hands-on footage and earlier specifications leaks, while Samsung has already confirmed plans to launch a new S26 FE. The emerging picture is a modest refresh: much of the S25 FE’s hardware appears to carry over, putting more pressure on the Exynos 2500 processor, revised camera design and potential efficiency gains to justify an upgrade. Leaked images fill in the S26 FE hardware picture The latest promotional-image leak shows a flat frame and rear panel with three cameras grouped inside a vertical island. The materials label the finishes Blueberry, Graphite and Pistachio, expanding on an earlier look at apparent S26 FE color options before launch. Samsung had already referred to the “new S26 FE” during its July 30 earnings call. The phone’s name has since appeared in a Samsung Poland document listing seven versions in the SM-S741 model family, although Samsung …

‘Modi govt’s familiar script’: Cong decries NSA detention of Assam activist Pranab Doley after he gets bail

‘Modi govt’s familiar script’: Cong decries NSA detention of Assam activist Pranab Doley after he gets bail

Congress leader Jairam Ramesh on Saturday criticised Assam’s BJP government for detaining land rights activist Pranab Doley under the National Security Act (NSA), calling it “a blatant misuse of preventive detention laws” in a statement posted on X. Pranab Doley was arrested in July 12 and got bail on July 29, but was then picked up under the NSA. (Photo: FB/@pranab.doley.7) Doley, convenor of the Greater Kaziranga Land and Human Rights Protection Committee (GKLHRPC), was detained under the NSA on July 30, a day after a Golaghat sessions court granted him bail. He had been arrested on July 12 in connection with protests against a proposed luxury hotel near the Kaziranga National Park. Ramesh alleged that the resort project was backed by Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. “Since 2022, indigenous residents of Golaghat have protested and even petitioned the Gauhati High Court against the project, arguing the land was forcibly acquired from them. While granting him bail on 29 July, the Sessions Court had observed that ‘where ecological preservation intersects with indigenous survival, criminal law …

37 years later and 6,450 kms away, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi’s debut carried the familiar thrill of a fearless teenager

For Indian cricket, teenage debuts have always carried a strange electricity. They are not just team-sheet decisions. They are acts of faith. A dressing room opens its door, a national cap is placed on a young head, and an entire country begins the dangerous business of imagining a future from a handful of balls. Sachin Tendulkar in 1989; Vaibhav Sooryanshu on debut. (X images, AP Photos) Sachin Tendulkar’s first steps in 1989 and Vaibhav Sooryavanshi’s first steps in 2026 belong to two completely different cricketing worlds. Tendulkar arrived in an age of red-ball severity, radio memory, newspaper romance and Pakistan’s fast-bowling fire. Sooryavanshi has arrived in an age of IPL noise, viral clips, tactical match-ups, social media verdicts and instant mythology. One was 16, the other 15. One came through Bombay’s unforgiving domestic machine, the other through Bihar, age-group cricket and franchise-cricket acceleration. Yet the first impression carried an oddly familiar note: the score was small, but the boy did not look small. Tendulkar’s route into the Indian team was not built on marketing or …

Supergirl: Krypto’s charm powers an otherwise familiar superhero tale starring Milly Alcock, Jason Momoa

At first glance, Supergirl has a surprising resemblance to John Wick, the billion-dollar Keanu Reeves franchise. That saga began with the killing of John’s beloved beagle. Here, Superman’s cousin sets off to save her dog, Krypto. The emotional hook is in place from the outset. But does the film build on that and become an engaging superhero adventure? Let’s find out. A still from Supergirl. The story revolves around Supergirl (Milly Alcock), who has all but given up on life and prefers to stay perpetually drunk. Messi, Messi, Messi: That familiar World Cup chant restarts after Argentina’s 3-0 win | Football News

4 min readUpdated: Jun 17, 2026 09:48 AM IST For much of the build-up to the World Cup, the questions had been familiar. Was Lionel Messi fit? Was this one World Cup too far? At 38, carrying the load of two decades at the summit of football, could he still bend the sport to his will when it mattered most? Ninety minutes into Argentina’s World Cup opener against Algeria in Kansas City, the answer had arrived in the form of three goals, a standing ovation and a reminder that football’s greatest stage still seems to belong to him. Argentina began their title defence with a 3-0 win and Messi, playing in a record sixth World Cup, played the central role once again with a hat-trick that cleared the air around his fitness, and gave Argentina’s title defence wings. It was also a night when the World Cup’s biggest stars collectively announced their presence. Kylian Mbappe scored a brace as France opened with a 3-1 win over Senegal, while Erling Haaland, too, found the net twice …

Yash defends Ramayana’s international canvas and style: ‘We need to make it familiar to a Western audience’

As the promotions for Nitesh Tiwari’s epic Ramayana begin, producer Namit Malhotra and star Yash travelled to Las Vegas to present the film at the CinemaCon. At the annual cinema exhibition for theatre owners and the industry, they presented Ramayana Part One to the West. On the sidelines, the two explained the film’s vision and scale in various interviews. Yash as Ravana with his Pushpaka Vimanam in a still from Ramayana. It tells the story of Lord Rama, the incarnation of Lord Vishnu (played by Ranbir Kapoor), and his battle against the asura king Ravana (Yash) after the latter abducts his wife, Sita (Sai Pallavi). The epic is one of the most familiar stories in the Indian subcontinent and is revered by Hindus as a sacred text. Bhooth Bangla review: Akshay Kumar keeps the laughs coming in Priyadarshan horror-comedy that feels a tad too familiar

Bhooth Bangla review: Akshay Kumar keeps the laughs coming in Priyadarshan horror-comedy that feels a tad too familiar

Bhooth Bangla Director: Priyadarshan Cast: Akshay Kumar, Tabu, Wamiqa Gabbi, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Jisshu Sengupta, Mithila Palkar Rating: ★★★.5 I’ll admit it upfront, I’m a sucker for the comic gems that Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan have given us over the years. Just a night before Bhooth Bangla’s release, I happened to rewatch their cult Bhagam Bhaag (2006), a reminder of how effortlessly they once nailed comedy. So naturally, seeing them reunite for another horror comedy after Bhool Bhulaiyaa had me excited. What we get, though, is a reunion that feels a little… bittersweet. Bhooth Bangla review: Akshay Kumar returns to his vintage comedy style with Priyadarshan’s film. The story of Bhooth Bangla revolves around London-based Arjun (Akshay) and his sister (Mithila). She suddenly inherits a fortune and a palace, courtesy of their grandfather. Arjun travels to Mangalpur, India, to set up the palace for his sister’s upcoming wedding. But the lore goes that nobody in the village gets married, as Vadhusur comes and steals the brides. What happens next forms the rest of the …

All England Open draw: Lakshya Sen handed early Shi Yu Qi challenge yet again, PV Sindhu faces a familiar rival in first round | Badminton News

4 min readUpdated: Feb 24, 2026 09:04 PM IST Just like the World Championships last year in Paris, Lakshya Sen has been drawn to face world No 1 Shi Yu Qi in the very first round at the All England Open in Birmingham next week. The Indian star, ranked 12 currently, has lost four of the matches played on the circuit against Shi since the first time they met at the Hangzhou Asian Games team event, where the Indian had incidentally won. Since then, Shi has had Lakshya’s number, winning four in a row. At an event where he has registered some of the biggest wins in his career including making the finals in 2022, world No 12 Lakshya will have to pull off another upset to navigate further. Elsewhere in women’s singles, double-Olympic medallist PV Sindhu faces a familiar rival in the round of 32 in Thailand’s southpaw Supanida Katethong. The Indian star has struggled in the past to deal with the high tempo badminton of left-handed Katethong, but they haven’t faced each other …

Couple Friendly movie review: Santosh Sobhan-Manasa Varanasi’s romance works despite familiar territory | Movie-review News

Couple Friendly movie review: Santosh Sobhan-Manasa Varanasi’s romance works despite familiar territory | Movie-review News

Valentine’s Day releases typically come with certain expectations, either go fully commercial with grand romantic gestures or stay safe with feel-good moments. Couple Friendly tries something a bit different, and while it doesn’t always succeed, there’s enough honesty here to make it worth your time. The film’s biggest strength is how real the characters feel. Shiva isn’t some confident hero who has it all figured out, he’s anxious about money, unsure about his career, and genuinely trying his best. Mithra isn’t waiting around to be rescued; she’s actively solving her own problems while dealing with a work situation that’s beyond her control. Santosh Sobhan plays Shiva with a quiet desperation that rings true. You’ve probably known someone like this, talented, hardworking, but stuck in that frustrating phase where nothing’s clicking yet. He captures that energy well, making you root for him even when he’s just trying to land one decent client. But Manasa Varanasi completely steals the show. Her Mithra is chatty, impulsive, practical, and full of life. She doesn’t just support the hero’s journey, …

Vadh 2 review: Solid performances, familiar twists in this sequel starring Sanjay Mishra, Neena Gupta

Vadh 2 review: Solid performances, familiar twists in this sequel starring Sanjay Mishra, Neena Gupta

Vadh 2Director: Jaspal Singh SandhuCast: Sanjay Mishra, Neena GuptaRating: ★★★ I watched Vadh (2022) as a refresher, just a couple of days before I watched it’s sequel. But as soon as Vadh 2 begins, you aren’t dealing with a continuity. New characters, new setting, but similar motive. And this is where things get interesting- but also predictable. Vadh 2, directed by Jaspal Singh Sandhu, features a cop and a prisoner forming an unlikely bond amidst prison intrigue. Jaspal Singh Sandhu returns as director for this thriller, which centres on a cop, Shambhunath Mishra (Sanjay Mishra), and a prisoner serving a life sentence, Manju (Neena Gupta). The two form an unlikely bond inside the jail, finding solace in each other, just as Manju is on the verge of being released. Also jailed is Keshav (Akshay Dogra), the brother of a local politician, who runs a reign of terror within the prison walls. When Keshav mysteriously goes missing, the film unfolds into a tense tale of power and buried secrets. As also the writer of Vadh 2, …
