Farah Khan, who married Shirish Kunder in 2004, recently shared the challenges of getting married into a South Indian family and spoke about navigating the cultural differences. In her latest vlog, Farah visited television star Karishma Tanna, whose husband also comes from a South Indian family. Farah recalled that when she was newly married, her mother-in-law expected her to grind spices using a traditional stone. She recalled how her mother-in-law was disappointed in her when she saw her using a mixer. While cooking with Karishma Tanna, the filmmaker shared, “Once my mother-in-law told me, grind these masalas manually, using grinding stones. Don’t grind them in the mixer.
