India’s first light-and-sound show in tunnel to be launched in Kerala’s Chilakoor on Feb 16| India News

Thiruvananthapuram, A light-and-sound show, featuring Kerala’s history with its focus on saint-social reformer Sree Narayana Guru’s teachings, will be launched in Chilakoor Tunnel near Varkala on February 16. India’s first light-and-sound show in tunnel to be launched in Kerala’s Chilakoor on Feb 16 It will be the country’s first visual treat for visitors to be beamed inside a tunnel, powered by video mapping technology, according to an official statement on Monday. Chilakoor Tunnel, renovated as part of the first phase of Akkulam-Chettuva Waterway project, will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. The 280-km Akkulam-Chettuva Waterway is part of the 616-km Kovalam-Bekal waterway project, a milestone in Kerala’s inland waterways development, scaling up the state’s sanding as a multi-modal logistic hub and boosting the state’s water-based tourism potential, it said. The tunnel renovation work has been carried out by Kerala Waterways Infrastructure Limited , a joint venture of the state government and the Cochin International Airport Limited . Preliminary report of Ajit Pawar plane crash to be out on or before Feb 28, says Pune MP| India News

The preliminary report on the plane crash in which NCP leader Ajit Pawar was killed will be out on or before February 28, Union minister of state for civil aviation and Pune MP Murlidhar Mohol said on Sunday. On February 19, the civil aviation ministry had said a preliminary report will be made public within 30 days of the accident. (PTI File) Ajit Pawar and four others were killed on January 28 after their Learjet 45 crashed some distance away from Baramati airport. Talking to reporters at an event here, Mohol said, “The preliminary report will be out before one month (from the day of the incident) on or before February 28.” The incident has been the subject of intense speculation with NCP (SP) MLA and Pawar’s nephew Rohit Pawar holding several press conferences to flag what he claimed were irregularities connected to the firm that owned the aircraft and other technical anomalies. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on February 22, 2026. With heavy footfall expected in central areas, the Traffic Police will shut key roads, including Laxmi Road and Shivaji Road, from around 4 pm. (FILE) A ceremonial procession carrying the idol of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj will commence at 4 pm from Bhavani Mata Mandir and conclude at the Shivaji Statue near the Civil Court. India AI Expo Summit 2026 to remain closed to public on Feb 19 and Feb 21

The India AI Expo Summit 2026 will remain closed to the public on February 19.  Expo will also remain closed for an additional day on February 21, Electronics and IT Secretary S Krishnan said on Wednesday.  As reported by news agency IANS, the decision comes as Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate the summit on February 19. Due to the high-level presence and security arrangements for the inaugural session, authorities have decided to keep the expo closed for general visitors on that day. Krishnan further said that the event has been extended by one day because of the overwhelming response and enthusiasm from the public. He stated, “The expo will now remain open on Saturday, February 21, allowing more visitors to attend and explore the exhibits,” as cited by news agency IANS. The minister further informed that around 20 heads of state will be present at the inaugural session. “Among them will be French President Emmanuel Macron highlighting the global importance of the summit,” he added.
