The Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune, has announced a five-day Film Appreciation Course in Lucknow from December 26 to 30. During the inauguration of the recently held Lucknow Short Film Festival, FTII Vice-Chancellor Dhiraj Singh had assured a strengthened FTII presence in Uttar Pradesh. According to the information released by the Press Information Bureau on Monday evening, the Vice-Chancellor said, “At the Lucknow Short Film Festival, the people of Lucknow demonstrated a clear understanding of and love for good cinema. Lucknow is an ideal place for FTII’s short courses.
