Four rounds were fired in the posterior area of the club where some persons were playing cards. On hearing them, police personnel in the adjoining street rushed to the club. The club is within walking distance of the city police commissioner’s office. Staff on duty told the police that an attempt was made to kill Suresh Jalgar.
