The upcoming saga Devara Part 1 is looking to break some box office records this weekend. Tickets for the much-anticipated action spectacle have opened for advance booking ahead of its September 27 release, and the results are highly encouraging. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Devara is on track for an opening of over Rs 100 cr worldwide. Devara Part 1 is headlined by Jr NTR and also stars Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan, who plays the main antagonist. According to Sacnilk, the film’s pre-sales have crossed Rs 28 crore in India by Tuesday, with worldwide sales currently sitting at around Rs 50 cr gross. The film has so far sold 6,50,118 tickets across six thousand shows. More shows will be added in the next two days, including in Hindi, which will open its full-fledged advance bookings on Wednesday.
