The prosecution had requested an additional three days of police custody, saying investigators needed more time to examine digital evidence recovered from the accused’s mobile phones. Police told the court that the pair allegedly used coded language, nicknames and symbols while communicating. Investigators argued that further questioning was needed to decode the conversations and establish the alleged conspiracy. Three people have been arrested in connection with the alleged petrol bomb attack on a Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) office in Ranchi, reported the PTI. Police are investigating possible links between the accused and terror organisations, including suspected connections with Pakistan-based networks. One of the accused was injured during a brief exchange of fire with police after attempting to escape from custody, officials said. The incident came to light after the RSS alleged that petrol bombs were thrown at its office in the Nivaranpur area of Ranchi during the early hours of Wednesday, as per the PTI. Police have intensified their investigation into the petrol bomb attack on the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) provincial office in Nivaranpur, Ranchi.  According to IANS, the police officials have also detained four individuals in connection with the incident. Those detained include the driver of the vehicle allegedly used in the attack and two of the suspected attackers. Probe underway to find the motive  According to the police officials, the detainees are being questioned to determine the motive behind the attack and uncover any larger conspiracy. The incident occurred on the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday and was captured on CCTV cameras installed near the premises. Preliminary investigations revealed that the attackers arrived in a rented car.
