Now, the makers have released a full-length trailer, over three minutes long, which amplifies the gore, action, and stylistic flair showcased in the teaser. Bhooth Bangla Box Office: Akshay Kumar and Wamiqa Gabbi’s HIT film collects Rs 2 crore on 3rd Tuesday, crosses Rs 140 crore mark

Bhooth Bangla, starring Akshay Kumar and Wamiqa Gabbi in the lead roles, collected Rs. 2 crore on its third Tuesday, registering a 25 per cent jump from Monday. This took its running cume to Rs. 140 crore nett mark at the Indian box office, with Rs. 18 crore coming in the third week. It is looking to close this week, around Rs. 20-21 crore.  Directed by Priyadarshan, the horror comedy will cross the Rs. 150 crore mark soon, and then it will march towards its final target. If it continues to gain traction, Bhooth Bangla has the potential to wind up its entire run around the Rs. 160 crore mark.  Akshay Kumar has gone through a rough phase at the box office post-pandemic, with a string of underperformers. Last year was somewhat better with three films doing decently well, although they weren’t a HIT, and now there is finally a HIT film as well. The industry tends to have a good time when Akshay Kumar is having a good time. He may not give the big Rs. 500 crore …

Bhooth Bangla Advance Booking: Akshay Kumar and Wamiqa Gabbi’s horror comedy sells 28K tickets in National Chains for Day 1

Bhooth Bangla is witnessing decent to good advance sales at the box office. As of 11 PM (Wednesday), the Akshay Kumar starrer sold around 28,000 tickets in the top two national chains, PVR Inox and Cinepolis, for the opening day, including Thursday previews. It is looking to close the day by crossing the 30,000 admissions mark at the ticket window.  Directed by Priyadarshan, the horror-comedy is on track to sell around 60,000-70,000 tickets by the time the preview shows start tomorrow night. In comparison, the previous two Akshay Kumar films, Housefull 5 and Jolly LLB 3, sold 96,000 and 45,000 tickets across the two national chains on their opening day. Jolly LLB 3 had fractured pre-sales due to VPF conflict between exhibitors and distributors, which means Housefull 5 is a better comp. The direct comp would suggest an opening day of around Rs. 15 crore nett, inclusive of previews for Bhooth Bangla. Provided it gets better walkups on the day, it could push a bit higher.  If it manages to open on the expected lines, it will …
