Former India spinner Harbhajan Singh, who was also a long time teammate of Gambhir with the national team, feels that there doesn’t seem to be a need for India to switch to the model for now but they should consider it if the need arises later. “It is not that easy to become a coach of India. To be a coach, you have to travel with the team for a whole year and keep yourself involved in the game. You have to be more engaged because there are multiple team selections, and you also need to focus on match results,” said Harbhajan on ANI.
