Former India pacer Zaheer Khan has expressed concern over Team India’s coach Gautam Gambhir’s “excessive flexible approach” in the white-ball set up and says the constant chopping and change can create an insecurity within the players. Zaheer says having flexibility is good but it must come with clear guidelines to ensure stability within the squad. “You’ve said that you’ve got to have flexibility. Number one and two will be there, but the others are going to be flexible. Within that flexibility, some rules also apply. There are certain protocols you have to follow.
