UK, France, Canada Threaten Action If Israel Continues Offensive In Gaza

Tel Aviv: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has pledged that Israel will achieve “total victory” in Gaza, as its three key allies– Canada, France and the United Kingdom– attacked his “egregious actions” and blockade on humanitarian aid in the Palestinian territory. British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, French President Emmanuel Macron and Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, in a joint statement, slammed Israel’s expansion of its war and called conditions in Gaza “intolerable”, as they threatened a “concrete” response if Israel’s campaign continues. “We will not stand by while the Netanyahu government pursues these egregious actions. If Israel does not cease the renewed military offensive and lift its restrictions on humanitarian aid, we will take further concrete actions in response,” the three allied governments said in a statement on Monday. The three countries did not specify what action could be taken against Israel, but added, “We are committed to recognising a Palestinian state as a contribution to achieving a two-state solution and are prepared to work with others to this end.” The statement coincided with a …

“Negotiations With Hamas Will Take Place Only Under Fire”: Netanyahu

Hamas has already felt the strength of our hand in the past 24 hours, Benjamin Netanyahu said. Jerusalem: Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday said that a wave of deadly overnight strikes on Gaza was “only the beginning” of Israeli action in the Palestinian territory. “Hamas has already felt the strength of our hand in the past 24 hours. And I want to promise you –- and them –- this is only the beginning,” Netanyahu said in a televised address. “From now on, negotiations will take place only under fire,” he said, adding: “Military pressure is essential for the release of additional hostages”. Breakthrough After Israel Halts Prisoner Release Over “Humiliating” Parades

Breakthrough After Israel Halts Prisoner Release Over “Humiliating” Parades

Jerusalem: Israel and Hamas have reached an agreement to exchange the bodies of dead Israeli hostages for the release of hundreds of Palestinian prisoners, keeping the fragile ceasefire deal intact for at least a few more days. As part of the agreement, the bodies of four Israeli hostages will be released in exchange for all Palestinian prisoners, Egyptian state-linked media reported late on Tuesday. Israel has delayed the release of 600 Palestinian prisoners since Saturday to protest what it called the “cruel treatment” of hostages during their release by Hamas, with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu describing them as “humiliating ceremonies”. The Palestinian group claimed the delay was a “serious violation” of their ceasefire and that talks on a second phase were not possible until they were freed. The deadlock had threatened to collapse the five-week-old fragile truce when the current six-week first phase of the deal expires this weekend. On Tuesday, Hamas confirmed the new agreement, under Egyptian supervision, saying it was part of the first phase of its ceasefire deal with Israel. The prisoners …

Trump Tower In Palestine? Inside The Shocking Gaza “Riviera” Proposal

Trump Tower In Palestine? Inside The Shocking Gaza “Riviera” Proposal

New Delhi: US President Donald Trump has unveiled a plan to seize control of the Gaza Strip, displace its estimated two million Palestinian residents, and transform the devastated enclave into a luxury destination. Dubbed the “Riviera of the Middle East,” the plan is reminiscent of Trump’s career-defining real estate projects – including New York’s iconic Trump Tower – but with the backdrop of over 60,000 dead Palestinians.  Trump’s Vision Standing next to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House, Trump declared that the United States should take over Gaza, describing the project as a “long-term ownership position.” This means permanently displacing the Palestinian population and redeveloping the area into a luxurious seaside haven.  “If we could find the right piece of land, or numerous pieces of land, and build them some really nice places with plenty of money in the area, that’s for sure. I think that would be a lot better than going back to Gaza,” the US President said. “Everybody I’ve spoken to loves the idea of the United States owning …

After “Secretary Of Genocide”, Blinken Called “Criminal”, Reporter Dragged Out

Washington DC: US Secretary of State Antony Blinken isn’t having the best final days in office, with the last 48 hours being particularly unforgiving for the top diplomat, who is facing heat over the controversial decisions taken by him during the Israel-Hamas war in Gaza. Far from the farewell he probably hoped for, Antony Blinken’s last press conference as US Secretary of State turned out to be a nightmarish experience as he found himself on the receiving end of a verbal lashing by two journalists covering the Gaza war. Chaos ensued as independent journalist Sam Husseini confronted Mr Blinken while he was defending the Biden administration’s decisions and policies during the 15-month war in Gaza. “Everyone from Amnesty International to the ICJ (International Court of Justice) is saying Israel is doing genocide and extermination, and you’re telling me to respect the process?” Mr Husseini questioned assertively. Moments later, while he was sitting quiet after the verbal confrontation, security personnel showed up at the journalist’s desk and started to forcefully lift him up. Reporter @samhusseini was …

How Teen Gazan With Down Syndrome Survived Israeli Bombs

How Teen Gazan With Down Syndrome Survived Israeli Bombs

New Delhi/Gaza: Ibrahim Hammad, a 16-year-old boy with Down syndrome, lived in Al-Zahra City in the middle of Gaza with his family of seven: parents, four older brothers, and himself. His parents, both professors at Al-Aqsa University, dedicated their lives to teaching, while one of his brothers, Hosam Abedalqader Hammad, pursued a bachelor’s degree in nursing. Life, though far from idyllic in the besieged Palestinian territory, was at least structured and predictable. The Hammads had moved to Al-Zahra from northern Gaza. To accommodate their large family, they built a three-story building, spending a huge portion of their savings on a home they could call theirs. Then, October 7 happened. The Palestinian group Hamas attacked Israel and the offensive that followed decimated Gaza. A Family Displaced  The Hammads’ recently constructed house, like so much else in Gaza, has been reduced to rubble. “When the war started, we were unable to move or go anywhere. Every place became dangerous – there is no safe space in Gaza, not even in schools or hospitals,” Hosam Hammad told NDTV.  …

Israeli strike kills nearly 100 in north Gaza residental block, US calls incident ‘horrifying’ | News Today News

At least 93 Palestinians were killed or missing and dozens wounded in an Israeli strike on a residential building in the northern Gaza town of Beit Lahiya on Tuesday, the Gaza health ministry said, and the US called the incident “horrifying”. Medics said at least 20 children were among the dead. “A number of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, and ambulance and civil defence crews cannot reach them,” the territory’s health ministry said in a statement. Later on Tuesday, Ismail Al-Thawabta, director of the Gaza government media office, put the number of fatalities at 93. There was no immediate Israeli comment. The Israeli military has frequently questioned figures on death toll published by the Hamas-run media office, saying they were often exaggerated. Israel’s main ally the United States said it was concerned by the high casualty toll, with State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller calling it a “horrifying incident with a horrifying result”. US officials have reached out to the Israeli government to ask what happened, Miller told reporters, adding he …

Israel, Hezbollah, Lebanon: Israel Bombards Lebanon As Hezbollah Launches Rocket Attacks: 10 Facts

The IDF stated that their air raids hit approximately 290 Hezbollah sites. New Delhi: Hezbollah on Saturday launched a series of rocket attacks from Lebanon into northern Israel, marking one of the most intense cross-border confrontations since the war began in October. Here are 10 points on this big story: On Saturday night, Hezbollah fired at least 10 missiles into northern towns and cities of Israel’s Jezreel Valley, the Times of Israel reported. This was the deepest incursion by Hezbollah rockets into Israeli territory since the conflict began in early October. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) intercepted most of the missiles, but one man in his 60s suffered minor injuries from shrapnel. Hezbollah claimed responsibility for the missile barrage and stated that it had aimed at the Ramat David Airbase. Located 50 km from the Lebanon border, the airbase is a key strategic site for the Israeli Air Force.  In response, Israeli jets carried out a series of retaliatory strikes across southern Lebanon. The IDF reported that its airstrikes targeted at least 110 Hezbollah positions, …
