US aviation giant Boeing has confirmed to BBC News that it is contributing $1 million (£812,600) to the inauguration fund for President-elect Donald Trump. “We are pleased to continue Boeing’s bipartisan tradition of supporting US Presidential Inaugural Committees,” a Boeing spokesperson said, noting the company has made similar contributions to the last three presidential inaugurations. Google has also joined the list of major corporations donating to the fund. “Google is pleased to support the 2025 inauguration, with a livestream on YouTube and a direct link on our homepage,” said Karan Bhatia, Google’s global head of government affairs and public policy. Other companies contributing to the fund include technology firms Meta and Amazon, ride-sharing giant Uber, and car manufacturers Ford, General Motors, and Toyota, with each reportedly donating $1 million.
