After three years in Europe, Indian star Manisha Kalyan is moving to South America. Peruvian champions Alianza Lima Femenino have announced the signing of the Indian midfielder from Greek side PAOK FC. The four-time league winners confirmed that the 24-year-old will strengthen their attacking unit ahead of the new season. “Kalyan has excelled at both club and national team levels, bringing dynamism and creativity to the attacking third,” the club said in a statement. Manisha arrives in Lima after competing at a high level in European football. She previously played for PAOK FC in Greece, where she featured in 23 matches and scored eight goals. Before that, she represented Apollon Ladies FC in Cyprus, scoring 14 goals in 36 appearances and becoming the first Indian footballer to play in the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
