2 min readNew DelhiFeb 24, 2026 06:46 PM IST Haryana Board Class 10th, 12th Exams 2026: The Board of School Education Haryana (HBSE) will begin the Class 10 and Class 12 annual examinations across the state from February 25. The Haryana Board has completed all preparations for the smooth conduct of the February–March 2026 examinations. On the first day, the Senior Secondary, academic and open school, English examination will be held. The exams will be conducted in a single shift from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm. This year, around 5,66,411 candidates will appear for the Secondary and Senior Secondary examinations at 1,431 centres across Haryana. Of these, 2,96,593 are boys and 2,69,818 are girls. The Haryana Board has issued admit cards to all eligible candidates. Entry to the examination centre will not be permitted without a valid admit card. The Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH) on December 24 has begun the online application process for the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) 2026. Eligible candidates can apply through the official portal at htet.eapplynow.com. HTET is conducted for candidates aspiring to become teachers in government and government-aided schools across Haryana and is mandatory for appointment at the primary, trained graduate and postgraduate teacher levels. As Haryana’s Class 10 board examination commences, videos of rampant cheating at a school in the Nuh district were widely shared on several social media platforms. The video showed people climbing up the school walls to pass chits to help the students writing their exam. Reportedly, the incident took place at Chandravati School in Tauru in Nuh district on Wednesday. Haryana Board chairman has sought a report of the incident to decide if the exam needs to be nullified, said the district education officer Paramjeet Chahal. “Action will be taken against any erring official if their role in helping students cheat in the exams is found. There are CCTV cameras on the premises and this would also be checked. The chairman will decide if the exam needs to be nullified and the centre sealed,” DEO told Indian Express (IE).
