The Haryana Board of School Education (HBSE) is likely to announce the Class 10th results in sometime. While the exact date and time have not been officially confirmed yet, students can remain at ease.  Nearly 2.9 lakh students appeared for the HBSE Class 10 examinations this year. The Haryana board re-exam of some of the cancelled subjects will take place on today on April 16. The Board of School Education of Haryana (BSEH) will conduct the re-examination of the cancelled subjects at three exam centres in Nuh district. The re-exam will take place at the district headquarters located in Nuh for senior secondary English (Core) and History subject. The Haryana board will conduct the exam from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm. The decision to cancel the exam and re-schedule it to a new date came after reports extensive cheating during the Class 10 board exam at a school located in Haryana’s Nuh district surfaced. As Haryana’s Class 10 board examination commences, videos of rampant cheating at a school in the Nuh district were widely shared on several social media platforms. The video showed people climbing up the school walls to pass chits to help the students writing their exam. Reportedly, the incident took place at Chandravati School in Tauru in Nuh district on Wednesday. Haryana Board chairman has sought a report of the incident to decide if the exam needs to be nullified, said the district education officer Paramjeet Chahal. “Action will be taken against any erring official if their role in helping students cheat in the exams is found. There are CCTV cameras on the premises and this would also be checked. The chairman will decide if the exam needs to be nullified and the centre sealed,” DEO told Indian Express (IE).
