Howrah–Guwahati Vande Bharat Sleeper train: Passengers travelling on India’s first Vande Bharat Sleeper train, set to operate between Kolkata and Guwahati, will be provided with high-quality mill-made linen items onboard. The semi-high-speed sleeper train service will be operated and maintained by the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR). In a letter to the NFR, the Railway Board has directed that sufficient quantities of premium mill-made linen be arranged for passengers across all classes to ensure comfort and an enhanced travel experience. The standard linen kit will include a bed sheet, a pillow cushion with cover, a wool-rich premium blanket with a blanket cover and a hand towel.
