The payout comes as part of the airline’s insurance claim, compensating for the damages sustained by the aircraft during the incident. The settlement will help offset repair and replacement costs, ensuring minimal disruption to the airline’s operations. They have also disbursed $25 million (Rs 225 crore) as compensation to the families of passengers who lost their lives in the crash.
