Salman Khan Extends Relief to Assam Flood Victims Through Being Human
As devastating floods continue to affect large parts of Assam, actor Salman Khan has stepped forward to support relief efforts through his charitable foundation, Being Human. With over 3.32 lakh people impacted by the floods, the organisation has begun coordinating relief operations in association with local authorities and volunteers on the ground. According to reports, Being Human is working closely with district authorities to distribute ready-to-eat food packets to families in urgent need. The organisation is also supporting relief efforts by helping provide temporary shelter for displaced families and assisting in the rebuilding of damaged schools and hospitals. Relief materials are being distributed across seven affected districts and include essential medicines, clean drinking water, sanitary pads and mosquito repellents. The large-scale rehabilitation effort requires extensive coordination, with Salman reportedly remaining closely involved despite his busy shooting schedule. The actor is also said to be working with his fan clubs in Assam to ensure that food and other essential supplies reach those most affected by the floods.
