Actor Anil Kapoor has arrived in Hyderabad to begin shooting for the pan-India film Dragon. Directed by Prashanth Neel, the film stars RRR and War 2 actor Jr NTR in the lead. Hyderabad Cyber Police register case against Meta India head over PM Modi posts

Cybercrime police in Hyderabad have registered cases against operators of several Facebook and Instagram accounts and parent company Meta’s India head over allegedly morphed and objectionable content targeting PM Narendra Modi during the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP)-led NEET paper leak agitation. According to the FIR, a complaint was received on July 29 at 7:40 PM from T Saikiran Goud, 32, Social Media CC Member, BJP Telangana, and resident of Dr SP Mookerjee Bhavan, opposite Exhibition Ground, Nampally, Hyderabad. In the complaint, Goud stated that while surfing social media on July 29 at 2:00 PM, he came across reels and posts that were allegedly derogatory towards the Prime Minister of India and appeared to promote narratives prejudicial to national integrity. The complainant listed 20 URLs of Instagram and Facebook reels and posts and requested an investigation. He alleged that the content may incite hatred, spread misinformation, promote enmity, and threaten national security. Officials emphasise sustainable public transport solutions to address chronic traffic congestion and improve urban mobility in Hyderabad

The government is seriously considering solutions for the chronic issue of traffic congestion on the roads, said Jayesh Ranjan, Special Chief Secretary, Metropolitan Area and Urban Development. On the anvil are quick solutions implementable within the next three to six months, he said, speaking at a panel discussion titled ‘Choked’ at Goethe Zentrum on Thursday. A total 21 corridors have been identified in the city with issues of road engineering, and action will be taken soon. Four elevated corridors are coming up in various routes, he added. With regard to pedestrian infrastructure, efforts are already being made towards the Supreme Court’s order declaring the right to walk as a fundamental right. Various stretches have been identified with cumulative length of 60 kilometres, where model corridors will be developed with wider footpaths, and facilities for non motorised transport. The solar plant has been established as part of the company’s (APHMEL) golden jubilee celebrations. He also inaugurated the newly constructed CC and RCC internal roads developed to strengthen the plant’s infrastructure. According to NIMS, the procedure was implemented by Y. Vamsi Krishna, head of the Department of Neurosurgery. The institute said the technique combines advanced imaging, precise surgical planning and refined operative methods, enabling DBS procedures to be performed under general anaesthesia instead of the conventional awake craniotomy approach. DBS is used to treat movement disorders such as Parkinson’s disease, essential tremor and dystonia. Traditionally, patients undergoing the surgery are required to remain awake for several hours while electrodes are implanted in specific areas of the brain. The institute said …
