Delhi To Jaipur In 30 Mins? India’s First Hyperloop Test Track Is Ready

IIT Madras with support from the Ministry of Railways, has developed a 422-meter-long, India’s first hyperloop test track. With this, 350 km can be covered in just 30 minutes. This means you can travel from Delhi to Jaipur, roughly 300 km, in less than half an hour once it becomes a reality. Union Railway Minister shared a video on the microblogging platform X (formerly Twitter) on December 5, showing the completion of a 410-meter Hyperloop test track, signalling significant progress in India’s high-speed transportation ambitions. The test track, located at IIT Madras’ Discovery Campus in Thaiyur, is an outcome of a collaborative effort between Indian Railways, IIT-Madras’ Avishkar Hyperloop team, and TuTr Hyperloop, a startup incubated at the institute.
