ISRO identifies safe landing site for Chandrayaan-4 Mission; here`s more

 The Chandrayaan-4 Mission is at least two years away, but the ISRO has identified a location in the South Polar region of Moon to land its lander. The union government has approved the Chandrayaan-4 mission, designed as a lunar sample-return mission and it will be India`s most complex lunar endeavour yet. “We are targeting 2028 for Chandrayaan-4,” ISRO Chairman V Narayanan had earlier said. According to ISRO officials, they had zeroed in on four sites of the Mons Mouton (MM) and found one of them suitable for landing on the lunar surface. Mons Mouton is a region on the Moon. Officials said they had identified locations — MM-1, MM-3, MM-4 and MM-5. Of them, MM-4 was chosen for the landing. “The four sites in Mons Mouton area were fully characterised with respect to terrain characteristics using high resolution Orbiter High Resolution Camera (OHRC) multi view image datasets,” they said. Even as he spoke at 7, Krishna Menon Marg to mediapersons, the number in the National Judicial Data Grid climbed to 90,225.  Justice Kant said he did not want to engage in a blame-game on who was responsible for the staggering number of arrears in the top court — the highest in the court’s history. “I will not pick fault on who is responsible. Central Corporation identifies ₹7.2 crore property tax discrepancies on Indiranagar 100-ft road

Demand notices have been issued to 49 commercial properties on Indiranagar 100-Feet Road after a re-assessment and revision survey of property tax uncovered discrepancies amounting to over ₹7.2 crore.  The survey, conducted on November 14, involved more than 120 staff members, including nine Revenue Officers from all revenue divisions of the Central Corporation. Commissioner Rajendra Cholan inspected several buildings and reviewed property tax details during the assessment.  Out of 197 properties surveyed, 147 were found to have correct tax payments, while 49 buildings were identified with discrepancies. The total differential tax for these 49 properties has been calculated at ₹7.21 crore. Under regulations, property owners receiving a cause notice are required to provide a written explanation within 15 days. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has identified over 64,000 mobile phone numbers that were bought using forged documents and may have been used for cybercrimes in Southeast Asian countries, officials said on Saturday, days after the agency carried out searches at 42 locations in eight states as part of a crackdown on “digital arrest” scams. The numbers were used for various criminal activities such as “digital arrests”, impersonation, bogus advertisements, investment and UPI frauds, and opening mule bank accounts, the FIR said. Ahead of the NEET-UG exam scheduled to be held on Sunday, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has identified Telegram and Instagram channels “claiming to have access” to the question paper, and has reported these cases for further action to the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) under the Ministry of Home Affairs. According to NTA sources, the agency was acting on inputs received through an online portal it launched last weekend for users to report “suspicious claims” regarding the examination. It has identified 106 Telegram and 16 Instagram channels that are “engaged in spreading misinformation and attempting to mislead students.” The NTA has asked Telegram and Instagram to take these channels down immediately and share details of the administrators of these channels with law enforcement agencies for investigation. Ahead of this years NEET UG 2025 exam, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has identified 106 Telegram and 16 Instagram channels that are spreading false information about the medical entrance examination, reports have claimed. According to a report by news agency PTI, the NTA has initiated action on certain fraudulent Telegram and Instagram channels claiming to have access to the NEET (UG) 2025 question paper. “Acting on inputs received through its recently-launched Suspicious Claims Reporting Portal, the NTA has identified 106 Telegram and 16 Instagram channels engaged in spreading misinformation and attempting to mislead students,” a source was quoted as saying by the news agency. The dedicated portal that NTA launched last week to flag suspicions about people or accounts claiming to have NEET UG 2025 question paper, has received over 1,500 complaints of alleged paper leaks for the upcoming medical entrance exam.
