Feb 07, 2025 01:39 PM IST Zomato is no more, at least in name since the food delivery giant just announced its official rebranding to Eternal Ltd sparking a flurry of reactions; read Zomato, the popular food and grocery delivery platform, surprised netizens on Thursday by announcing its official name change to Eternal Ltd, over two years after the shift began internally. The decision was made after the company’s board approved the change in a regulatory filing to the stock exchanges. While the corporate name will change, the Zomato brand and app will remain unchanged. The name alteration still needs approval from shareholders, the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, and other authorities. Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal Deepinder Goyal, the founder and CEO of Zomato, took to X to share the news with a formal announcement letter. “Our board has approved this change today and I request our shareholders to also support this change,” Goyal wrote. On his 75th birthday, JP Dutta says, ‘Border has ensured me immortality’

JP Dutta, who turns 75 today, is not big on birthdays. But the one thing that the filmmaker is crazy about, even after pursuing it for close to 50 years, is movies. He has spent the past year developing Border 2, the sequel to his blockbuster Border (1997). “Every film that I have made has been a milestone. But Border has been my biggest milestone and it’s been the one thing that has ensured me immortality,” he smiles. Border was a blockbuster upon its release in June 1997  Dutta had directed the Sunny Deol, Suniel Shetty, Akshaye Khanna and Jackie Shroff-led war drama.
