The two countries have also signed the Double Contributions Convention (DCC), which will ensure that temporary workers do not have to pay social security contributions in both countries simultaneously. The official said the DCC is also likely to be implemented in parallel with the trade agreement. Before the agreement comes into force, it needs approval from the UK Parliament.
