India will have a busy second day at the Commonwealth Games 2026 in Glasgow on Friday with athletes competing across swimming, para swimming, artistic gymnastics, para powerlifting, bowls and boxing. After an unbeaten start in bowls on the opening day, Rupa Rani Tirkey and Pinki Singh return for their women’s pairs clash against South Africa, while Putul Sonowal takes on the Falkland Islands in the men’s singles. The day also features six medal events for India, with para powerlifters Ashok, Paramjeet Kumar, Jaspreet Kaur, Suman Devi, Kasthuri Rajamani, Jhandu Kumar and defending Commonwealth champion Sudhir all in action. In swimming, Srihari Nataraj begins his campaign in the men’s 50m backstroke, while Ravi Veera Venkata and Imam Ali compete in the men’s S13 100m freestyle.
