Indian women boxers will go to Turkey for a special training camp in foreign conditions ahead of the upcoming 2024 Paris Olympics. Nikhat Zareen, Lovlina Borgohain, Parveen Hooda, and Preeti Pawar along with two coaches and a physiotherapist will travel to Turkey after Mission Olympic Cell (MOC) of the Sports Ministry approved the proposal. The Boxing Federation of India accepted the resignation of the high-performance director Bernard Dunne but head coach Dmitrij Dmitruk will continue in his role despite the poor show of the Indian boxers at the World Olympic qualifiers. Delhi: Bernard Dunne, High-performance director of the Indian boxing team, has resigned from his post following a horror show from Indian boxers in the first World qualifiers for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
