Lahore, Pakistan’s media watchdog has issued a show-cause notice to a leading news channel for running “Indian content” while broadcasting the news about the death of legendary singer Asha Bhosle. Pakistani broadcaster Geo News has been issued a show-cause notice by the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) for airing content related to the death of legendary singer Asha Bhosle, the channel’s managing director said on Monday.
