Amandeep Johl has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI), effective in January 2025. Amandeep, who replaced Uttam Singh Mundy, brings a wealth of experience to his new role. The 55-year-old will assume the charge on January 1. In the interim period until December 31, he will assist Mundy in completing the handover process. Amandeep has been an integral part of Indian golf since making it to the junior Indian team in 1985. The tournament carries a prize money of $2.25 million. However, the venue for the tournament has not been announced yet.
